| i forget i have this thing...
even so, i have nothing to write about. | | |
| so last weekend was the winter fest. it was alot of fun. saterday morning me and the girls (morgan, kelly, alex, nikki, molly s.) when to the school for our class selling activity and i brought my guitar up and we set out a donation cup and made 11 dolars. it was alot of fun. then staterday night me and morgan sang in the talent show. we sang ninteen stars by meg & dia, and i played it on my guitar. it was really cool. and molly s. brought me pink roses =) 
and then last night i was with emily on the way to her house, and we got into a car accedent. the roads were bad so we probly shouldnt have been out, but we started fish tailinn and four cars whent by and as soon as the last car when by we started spinning, adn eventualy we slid down a 10 foot drop off of the side of the road. it was pretty scary but were bothe of just really sore and i have a tiny scratch on my hand. but everyon was really suprised we didnt flip. she didnt get a ticket and the car is ok so thats good. i dont think well go out in the snow again tho. | | |
| so today was like the most hilarious day in the history of hilarious days. haha. 3rd period we have gym class. so were all like playing basketball and being dumb and the lights start flickering so were all like what he heck? so like 15 min later they were still flickering. and then they finally went out along with the clocks and everything else. Mr. L was like ok i just found out the powers out in the whole building so you guys are staying in here until we hear something else. so were all like sweet. and we ended up having like 2 hours of gym class bc it was basically like a school lock down. so then 5th period roles around and there like ok if you have 5th period lunch go ahead and go down, so were eating lunch talking about stupid stuff likes its the end of the world and ooh did you see the sniper?and we get up to go exploring in the dark school and the lunch lady turns around and yells at us to sit down so we sit back down and brooke goes "you stupid midget jew, were eating you first!" so then we were like dying laughing, so were pretty awesome and decided to sing kwanza joy song so were all like "friends and family, this is the joy..." and then we get interrupted by brooke "OHHH tell me what you want what you really really want" so by this point were all like having seizures and peeing our pants bc were just that cool. co then we decide this is crap, and we snuck out of the cafeteria through the back room in the kitchen, and went back do to the gym, and it was like pitch dark so were all like freaking out, and then taylor trips up the stairs and almost kills me in the process so the whole time were like dyeing laughing and like freaking out. it was pretty funny. so then there like everyone has to report to their 6th period class, so we get there (bio) and we start class and were like 3 min in and kelly's sister is like can i barrow kelly for a min please, so one by one all of our older sibs can and got us out of bio, so we didn't get like anything done at all, and it was hilarious. so then were like five min into 7th period and the power comes back on and we get an anouncment "would everyone please report to the buses ready to go home half way through the period" so even the the power was back on they sent us all home. and it was awesome. and all you home schoolers should be jealous  haha. | | |
| ok so a little bit ago i got home from cuse. why did you go to cuse jessica? oh well since you asked, i went to cuse to go giutar shopping! so yes today i did get a new guitar, and a UKULELE!! oh yeah thats right, i play the ukulele haha. so my guitar is an Alvarez, its not the one i wanted, my dad was just sorta like oh well i like it lets get it, and like its not bad and ill play it and all its just not my preference i guess. the one i want is an Ibanez EW20MBENT. and i'm not going to lie, its a pretty "sick" guitar, hah. but the bad thing is its kinda expensive, but i was like id rather have and expansive guitar i love than an guitar we can get a good deal on but its only like ok. so we decided that monday were going to trade my ovation in, which it fine with me bc i hate that guitar, and no i did not pick it out my dad bought it for me. its got the scoop back and thats no good for anything (according to me) so if we make a trade with that we should be able to knock the price of the Ibanez down and get a case too. and my dad will take the Alvarez and i can have the Ibanez, but my dad cant play more that 5 basic chords to save his life to they'll both pretty much be mine. and i'm not going to lie, i'm going to be kinda upset if i don't get that guitar, bc "i like it allot" haha. and its cute =P which is a plus. so yeah that will mean i just got two new guitars for christmas (if i get the Ibanez of course) and a ukulele, but yeah i want the Ibanez, i don't even know if i'm getting it or not until monday, i just think i am, from what my dad said, but he can be kinda confusing sometimes. it depends on what we can get for the ovation. piece of crap hah. but this is the Ibanez i want...  cool huh? ill possibly post pictures later of the Alvarez and the Uke =) | | |
| ok so fo the first time this week i played to guitar infront of like a real audence, wenesday if was for the elemantary concert in a pit band so i really didnt think anything of it, but then tonight, i got to play at our highschool "winter" concert. it was a song that i wrote (with the help of my friend jordan). so i hive to admit... i think im addicted. it was a blast! we has id set up with the chorus kids, so we added some harmony and some rounds and what not, and then at the end i had a part i sang over everyone else's round. at first it was like rrreeeeaaaallly scary and i was like crap they hate it i suck, and then at the end ppl were like standing up and claping and whistleing and yelling, so then i was like wow haha they liked it! so then after words everyone was like whoa excelent job and it was cool, and not i want to do it again, im thinking possibly sometime at the fields??? idk yep i need to write some more first, i probly shouldn't just do covers, concidering thats like almost zero origonality, so ive officaly been sucked all the wy into the world of multi instamental music and playing live and everything else along those lines... and i love it.. so my music teacher gave me the task of writing two more songs by the end of christmas break, so after those are worked out were going to make a 3 song cd. i dont really know y bc the only ppl who im going to let listen to it are my grandma and grandpa haha, they wont laugh at me =P | | |
